Heavy rainfall is anticipated during this period. However, data from the first half of July indicates that overall rainfall in the state has been close to normal\u2014188 mm being typical for this period, currently about 8% lower.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"581\" data-end=\"976\"><strong data-start=\"581\" data-end=\"594\">Bageshwar<\/strong> recorded the highest rainfall in the state so far this month, with nearly <strong data-start=\"669\" data-end=\"684\">three times<\/strong> the usual amount. <strong data-start=\"703\" data-end=\"714\">Chamoli<\/strong> ranked second, receiving <strong data-start=\"740\" data-end=\"761\">61% more rainfall<\/strong> than average. On the other hand, <strong data-start=\"795\" data-end=\"807\">Haridwar<\/strong> recorded the <strong data-start=\"821\" data-end=\"840\">lowest rainfall<\/strong>, at <strong data-start=\"845\" data-end=\"865\">69% below normal<\/strong>.
