He also emphasized the need to complete the establishment of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure in the state in a timely manner. The CM directed that the process of implementing a <strong data-start=\"589\" data-end=\"603\">green cess<\/strong> on vehicles entering from other states be expedited, and ongoing construction work at bus terminals be completed within set deadlines.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"740\" data-end=\"1069\">The Chief Minister also directed that <strong data-start=\"778\" data-end=\"902\">charging stations be established near bus stands, parking areas, government buildings and guest houses, and petrol pumps<\/strong>, so that vehicle users can access charging facilities easily. He stressed the importance of focusing on <strong data-start=\"1007\" data-end=\"1033\">increasing the revenue<\/strong> of the State Transport Corporation.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1071\" data-end=\"1761\">On this occasion, Reena Joshi, Managing Director of the Transport Corporation, informed that the <strong data-start=\"1168\" data-end=\"1237\">PM E-Bus Service Scheme will be launched in Dehradun and Haridwar<\/strong>, under which <strong data-start=\"1251\" data-end=\"1273\">150 electric buses<\/strong> will be operated. The primary goal of the scheme is to provide citizens with <strong data-start=\"1351\" data-end=\"1422\">convenient, accessible, and environmentally friendly transportation<\/strong>. The scheme is expected to <strong data-start=\"1450\" data-end=\"1493\">create around 750 new job opportunities<\/strong>. She added that the state government is laying special emphasis on developing EV charging infrastructure to promote the use of electric vehicles and reduce air pollution. In the <strong data-start=\"1672\" data-end=\"1687\">first phase<\/strong> of the scheme, <strong data-start=\"1703\" data-end=\"1760\">EV charging stations have been set up at 28 locations<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1763\" data-end=\"2016\">The meeting was attended by Vice Chairman of the Infrastructure Monitoring Council Mr. Vishwas Dabur, Chief Secretary Mr. Anand Bardhan, Principal Secretaries Mr. R.K. Sudhanshu and Mr. R.
