Shared memories with children and showed the youth the road ahead
Dehradun, 07 February 2026. Saturday became a special day for Panchur village in Yamkeshwar block of Pauri district. After all, their own son was home with them today. Following an overnight stay at his ancestral house, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stepped out for a morning walk through the village lanes, and a crowd of youngsters and children joined him along the way. Though he is now a renunciate, in the village he is still someone’s brother, someone’s grandfather, someone’s uncle. Seeing the familiar footpaths, Yogi grew emotional and spoke at length with everyone. He relived his childhood with the children and showed the youth a path toward the future.
On the final day of his two-day visit, Yogi woke up at the Brahma Muhurat as per his daily routine. After prayers, he spent some time enjoying the gentle morning sunshine in the courtyard of his home. He then set out for a walk. The serene surroundings, the mountain air, and childhood memories transported him back to the past for a few moments. Passing through the village lanes, he was seen pausing repeatedly to look at old houses and pathways.
The Chief Minister spoke warmly with the children, asking about their studies and plans for the future. The presence of Yogi among them generated special enthusiasm among children and villagers alike. People met the Chief Minister in a simple, heartfelt manner and reminisced about old times.
